jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

FC = 16sqrt2 base side length let be s s^2 +s^2 = FC^2 2s^2 = 2*16^2 divide both sides by 2 s^2 = 16^2 s = 16 cm from this result that the length of OD = 16/2 = 8 cm the height AO so h = 7 cm using in triangle AOD the pythagoras theorem AD^2 = h^2 + OD^2 AD^2 = 7^2 +8^2 AD^2 = 49 +64 AD = sqrt 113 AD = 10,6 cm hope helped

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok. ? this is understandably sure right easy ?

OpenStudy (the_rebel_outlaw):

yea, the way my teacher explained it was confusing, i honestly don't even remember how she explained it. Thank you
