If one mole of iron (III) oxide is needed to react with three moles of carbon monoxide (CO) in a reaction to produce two moles of iron and three moles of carbon dioxide, what is the mole ratio between the reactants? 1:2 2:1 2:3 1:3

The ratio is 1:3 because you need 1 mole of iron(III) oxide for every 3 moles of carbon monoxide. Those are the reactants in the chemical equation. Iron and carbon dioxide are the products. You'll probably want to reduce ratios to simplest form when you encounter another question like this.
