NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

What is the percent yield for the reaction, CaCO3 arrow CaO + CO2 , if 13.1 grams of CaO is actually produced when 24.8 grams of CaCO3 is heated? Show all equation setup work and the final answer.

NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

This is a Chemistry question. @welshfella @Will.H @Kevin @danieldjpon3 @mathstudent55

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

im not that good a chemistry, but I'll try...

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

ooh I think i know.

NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

Thanks.

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

Percentage yield= actual yield (13.10)/theoretical yield x 100 it looks like you need to find the theoretical yield, which you should convert the 24.8 g CaCo3 to g of CaO

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

There,

NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

Umm, thats from Yahoo....

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

ye

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

I told you i dont know much about chemistry

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

xD

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

I like math and geometry more than chemistry

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

so ye

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):
