NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

What is the percent yield for the reaction, CaCO3 arrow CaO + CO2 , if 13.1 grams of CaO is actually produced when 24.8 grams of CaCO3 is heated? Show all equation setup work and the final answer.

OpenStudy (dr-wells):

One Sec ;p

NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

Thanks.

kk @NvidiaIntely

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

@NvidiaIntely I'll msg you, ok?

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

No problem

OpenStudy (dr-wells):

Do this. Percentage yield= actual yield (13.10)/theoretical yield x 100 If you want to find the theoretical yield, then convert 24.8 g CaCo3 to g of CaO

OpenStudy (dr-wells):

Do all of that, and then you can find your answer :)
