I used the square root property and got it down to \[x =\pm \sqrt{2/-3}\] but the answer is \[x = \pm \sqrt{6}/3\]

first, your answer is \(\pm \sqrt{\dfrac{2}{3}}\). You don't have the minus sign inside the square root. OK?

\(\sqrt{\dfrac{2}{3}}=\dfrac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{3}}\) Multiple both numerator and denominator by \(\sqrt{3}\)
