NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

Which of the following pairs of atoms do NOT exhibit an ionic bond? N and H Li and Br O and Mg F and Cu

OpenStudy (bobo-i-bo):

between what kind of elements do ionic bonds form?

NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

Ummm..... @Will.H @Will.H @shaima

OpenStudy (shaima):

Ok look consider the EN difference of the compounds being observed. F and Cu have a very large EN difference therefore they exhibit ionic bonding. Li and Br have a large EN difference and also exhibit ionic bonding. N and H have a small enough difference in EN to be considered to exhibit covalent bonding. O and Mg have large EN difference and therefore exhibit ionic bonding. so the answer would be N And H because the difference is so small

Thanks Shaima!
