first derivative is the velocity

what do i do after that
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
Similar problem; Example. The position of an object at time t is given by s(t) = -10 + 8t. Find the instantaneous velocity at t = 2 by finding the derivative. Solution: The derivative of the position is velocity. (If you want to know why, just ask.) The derivative of the position function \(s(t)\) is: \(s'(t)=8\) (or \(v(t)=8\)). Notice that for any value of \(t\), your velocity is constant (it's 8). So, the velocity at t=2 is also 8.
