Will Medal for correct answer http://prntscr.com/cx7zu4

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

\[\large \frac{-6 \times z^2 \times -7 \times z^5}{-2 \times z^5 \times 8 \times z^4}\]

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

I just combined them and separated the terms using the multiplication sign.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

You can cancel the \(z^5\) from the numerator and the denominator because \(z^{5-5} = z^0 = 1\)

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

And then multiply the constants in the numerator and the denominator. \[\large \frac{42 \times z^2}{-16 \times z^4}\]

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Now just divide the constants separately and the exponents separately. Remember that if the exponents have the same base and you are dividing them then just subtract the exponents. Such as \(\large \frac{x^4}{x^2} = x^{4-2} = x^2\)

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

\[\large \frac{42}{-16} \times \frac{z^2}{z^4} = ? \]

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Do you understand it thus far?

OpenStudy (vjt):

Kind of...Would it be B then for the answer?
