jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

3,9×10^33 ergs of radiant energy ------ 1 sec x ---------------------------------1,55×10^7 sec ---------------------------------------------------- x = 1,55×10^7 * 3,9×10^33 = ? hope helped

OpenStudy (yolo729):

but how would i do this

OpenStudy (mrnood):

you can writye it as (1.55 * 3.9) * (10^7 * 10^33) Multiply the 2 numbers and then use the rules of indices to combine the powers of 10

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

If you know how much it produces in 1 second, and you want to know how much it produces in some large number of seconds, logic should tell you that you need to multiply.
