Spent so long thinking about this question. Cant figure it out why the answer is what it is. Question is attached. I know we can eliminate A,B and D. Leaving only C. C states that Methylpropan-1-ol has weaker van der Waals’ forces than butan-1-ol. They both have the molecular formula C4H9OH They have identical bonds arranged in different ways. How are the VDW's forces different?
