Your idea?
I believe it is B, but not sure
How?
because of my work in my notebook but i think its wrong- am i?
Nope.
It is not correct
first notice the -x^2 graph should look like |dw:1478201300390:dw| so a maximum will exist then take the first derivative and determine the critical value once you have critical value, substittue it back into the original equation. that being said, what critical value did you get?
Sorry! I was busy.
@3mar ok.. then can you help me now please?
Where are you stuck?
@3mar I know you are here and please is it the limit does not exist for the first one?
or would it be 4250
As it is a negative-slope parabola (-x^2), so it has a maximum value at its vertex. Can you find out its vertex?
@iwanttogotostanford Can you kindly respond more faster, please?
@3mar so sorry my computer is slow I have found out that it is 4.250
Yes you are correct! 4.25 is the value of the function at its maximum point!
ok, may i ask you one more?
Can we start in new post, please?
yes please come fast
Thanks. just you respond faster!
