Correct
Just think of this like a fraction. You want to get it as simplified as possible
@hzro can u explain how
\(\Large\frac{28}{35}\) There is a number that both are divisible by. This is called finding the GCF (Greatest Common Factor)
28/35=.8
Hint: (no need to divide 28 by 35) 28: (1,2,4,7, 14,28) 35: (1,5,7,35) What is the GREATEST number that you see in these factor lists?
7 i think caz both 35 + 28 have a 7 that they can dived by
that's right! so: \(\Large\frac{28\div 7}{35\div 7}\)
and this should give you the ratio that you're looking for
` 28/7=4 `
` 35/7=5
so i was right thank u so much :D
yup! I hope this explanation makes sense! ^.^
it did
But oh! Here's another helpful tip: You actually brought up something helpful earlier. vvvvvvvvvvv When you divide 28 by 35, you get .8 and .8 can also be rewritten as 8/10, which can be simplified to 4/5 because 10 divided by 2 is 5 and 8 divided by 2 is 4.
So this could be a faster way to find this, but when you find the greatest common factor, you're sure to find the simpler ratio :)
do u think u can help meh wth 1 more plz ;3
