Fast Help xx

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Expand (3x-1)^2. Then move all of the terms to one side. Combine like terms, and you should get an answer.

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

Ummm

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

@3mar

OpenStudy (royalranger):

\[(3x-1)^{2} = 9x ^{2} -6x + 1\]

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

that is the answer????

OpenStudy (royalranger):

No. Now we have X's on both side of the equation. We need to set the equation equal to zero remember. So lets move \[2x ^{2} + 3x\] to the other side

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

okay and then

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Combine all of your like terms.

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

5x?

OpenStudy (royalranger):

\[2x ^{2} + 3x = 9x ^{2} - 6x + 1 - x ^{2}\] \[0 = (9x ^{2} - 6x + 1 -x ^{2}) - (2x ^{2} + 3x)\] Combine like terms: 0 = \[6x ^{2} - 9x +1\]

OpenStudy (3mar):

Nice presentation! @royalranger and Sorry for being late @zarkam2! Sorry, I was not here!
