nottim A linear Scatchard plot was obtained from equilibrium dialysis experiments studying the binding of ethidium bromide to solutions containing 1.00x 1 o-6 M DNA. The results from two of the experiments are shown below: (a) Determine the equilibrium binding constant of ethidium bromide for the DNA. Show work Include units.

OpenStudy (frostbite):

You could redo the Scatchard plot by plotting the bound to unbound ligand ratio against the bound ligand concentration, then the slope would be the negative equilibrium constant of binding (association constant). The unit would be \(\sf M^{-1}\).
