Well do you know equation of a line? We can start with that then go into inequalities.
y=mx+b?
Yeah exactly, can you figure out the equation of the lines of the two given lines?
no not really
Ok no worries, so like the easiest way to find the equation of a line is, first knowing what all the variables mean, y=mx+b, m here is the slope, and b is the y - intercept (where the line crosses the y - axis). The slope m can be found by using this equation \[m = \frac{ y_{2}-y _{1} }{ x _{2}-x _{1} } \] where (x1,y1), (x2,y2) are any two points on the same line.

I'm so confused so is it y3 and x-3?
sorry it's hard for me :/
|dw:1481910321151:dw| lets first label the lines, 1 and 2, and now lets find the slope of the first line
