so the "least squares regression line" is the that goes through the general middle of the collection of points so that about an equal number of points are above and below the line. but that's a lot of words, so here's a picture x'D |dw:1507165194102:dw|

in this picture you can see that the line has one point off of it, but above it then a balancing point also not on the line, but below it
there are two ways I would personally solve this problem the first way works banks on the fact that these types of problems want to go easy on you, which is to say that the slope between the first and last points is usually the "least squares regression line" :P so find the slope between the points (1, 1) and (4, 10)
the second way would work most of the time (better than the first way) and that would be to find the slope between each consecutive point that is the slope between (1, 1) and (2, 3) then slope between (2, 3) and (3, 7) then between (3, 7) and (4, 10) then average the slope to get the slope of the line you want [the number would be the same as the first method in this question, but that might not always be true]
I know I just used a lot of words so if you get confused with anything, feel free to ask ^_^
