Man I hate short answer response questions.

Warriorz13:

Same.

JustSaiyan:

The similarity would be they are all forms of bonding.

JustSaiyan:

Ionic bonds are bonds between a metal and nonmetal element, while a covalent is between two nonmetal elements. An Ionic bond is formed by an electrostatic attraction between to oppositely charged ions. However, covalent bonds are formed from electrons being shared between atoms that have the same electronegativity. A Metallic bond is formed when a mobile electron is attracted to a fixed electron, both positively charged. A similarity would be that they are all forms of bonding, and are all formed by attraction of atoms.
