Find the area of the shaded portion intersecting between the two circles. Show all work for full credit. https://wca.sooschools.com/media/g_geo_ccss_2016/8/groupi59.gif My answer- The area of triangle + area of shaded region = area of the sector Since it forms an equilateral triangle. therefore the angles would be 60 each Therefore shaded area= area of sector - area of triangle Area if equilateral triangle = (√3) a²/4 Putting the value of a = 4 we get area 6.93 Area of the area of sector angle 60 is: [0/2]r² where 0 = π/3 Putting the value at π²/(9*2) =π²/18 Therefore area of shaded region: π²/18-6.93 Teacher said- the area of the triangle is correct but leave it with pi in it, the rest has problems with the way you set it up
