My Forensics is making me do Trigonometry and i dont know how can anyone help me?
The example they gave ArcSin (9.0 mm/18 mm) = 30 degrees
I dont know how they got 30

Because \(\sin(30^{\circ}) = \dfrac{1}{2}\). The arc sin function means "inverse sine" as in, the output and the input switch roles. The ratio becomes the input and the angle becomes the output. So \(\sin^{-1}(\dfrac{1}{2})=30^{\circ}\)
And just in case you're confused, \(\dfrac{9 \text{ mm}}{18 \text{ mm}} = \dfrac{1}{2}\)

Wow I never knew trig is used in forensics. If you memorize the unit circle these questions will be easier. |dw:1571944577051:dw| where (x,y) = (cos x, sin x) If you're extremely lazy like me, you figure each thing out part by part via special right triangles. Just know that inverse trig is where they're giving you the angle and you must find x.
