It is indeed quartz but you should offer an explanation as well. Quartz and glass are both SiO2 and are solids, yet glass is amorphous and quartz is crystalline. Why's that? Quartz follows a Network covalent bond where there's a network of SiO2 molecules covalently bound to each other, and they do so in a geometric pattern called a unit cell. Glass is random, so even though there is a 'network' of SiO2 molecules bounded, it is a random arrangement of the particles.
A really interesting thing about molecular arrangement if you know is that Diamond and the graphite in your pencil have the same molecular composition. Yet it's the arrangement of the molecules that makes one worth thousands and the other a matter of a few cents.
