sealake101:

Timmyspu:

Ok so what do you do first

sealake101:

i dont know...

Timmyspu:

So what have you learned about this in your class?

Vocaloid:

you're given the pH as 11.8 you can find the pOH by subtracting 14 - pH from there, OH concentration is [OH] = 10^(-pOH)

sealake101:

im just really bad at this type of stuff and I don't get any of it, it don't make sense to me

Vocaloid:

you need the pOH first subtract 14 - pH to get pOH your pH is 11.8, so your pOH is 14 - 11.8 = 2.2 now, plug pOH = 2.2 into the formula [OH] = 10^(-pOH) to get your OH concentration

sealake101:

ok
