iuytyuioiuytyuiop:

Which of the following are molecules (covalent compounds) ? (There might be more than one answer) a CO2 b SeCl2 c FeCl2 d KBr

iuytyuioiuytyuiop:

one of the choices might be A

iuytyuioiuytyuiop:

but I don't kno if B C or D are covalent

jimthompson5910:

CO2 (carbon dioxide) is definitely covalent. KBr (potassium bromide) is ionic. I'm not sure of the others.

XTHb:

A i think

iuytyuioiuytyuiop:

I think A but I dont kno the second option

iuytyuioiuytyuiop:

what should I do @jimthompson5910

jimthompson5910:

Sorry I don't know since I can't find much info on this. I think FeCl2 is ionic but I'm not 100% sure.

iuytyuioiuytyuiop:

ok

iuytyuioiuytyuiop:

can you help me guess?

jimthompson5910:

One source is saying SeCl2 is covalent. So I think A and B are the two answers

iuytyuioiuytyuiop:

ok thank you

jimthompson5910:

You're welcome
