If 2.2 moles of calcium oxide are decomposed, how many moles of oxygen are produced? 2CaO --> 2Ca + O2

AZ:

Our chemical reaction tells us the molar ratio of reactants and products For every 2 moles of CaO, we will produce 2 moles of Ca and 1 mole of O2 The ratio between CaO and O2 is 2:1 So if you have 2.2 moles of calcium oxide (CaO), how many moles of oxygen would you make?

AZ:

(just divide by 2, it's that easy)
