what is the purpose of molar mass and avogadro's number? and 18.02 ml of water is 1 mole, about the size of a small sip.what does that tell you about the magnitude of avogadro's number and the size of representative particles?
something about each atom being too small to measure?
@AZ when you come back on?

Do you know what the difference is between molar mass and Avogadro's number? @minustempo Molar mass tells you how many grams of a compound will make a mole Avogadro's number tells you how many molecules are in 1 mole
Do you know what Avogadro's number is?
6.022*10^23 atoms in a mole
What can you tell me about that number? Or the magnitude of it? Is it a small number or a really large number?
lmao it's about 602200000000000000000000 so really big i guess it's that becauese an atom is so tiny we need a very large number of them to measure and make a number just for that so it's easier to calculate like we can say 1 mole of carbon instead of 602200000000000000000000 atoms of carbon
Exactly, it's a very large number. Did that help you answer your question now?
i guess yeah
