Where are the asymptotes for the following function located? f (x) = StartFraction 7 Over x squared minus 2 x minus 24 EndFraction x = –4 and x = 6 x = –4 and x = 7 x = 4 and x = –6 x = 6 and x = 7

Vocaloid:

late response, but in case you still need help y = 7/(x^2 - 2x - 24) denominator factors to (x-6)(x+4). there are vertical asymptotes where the denominator = 0, so setting (x-6)(x+4) = 0 gives us x = 6 and x = -4 as the asymptotes.
