Find the molar mass of Lead(II) Nitrate and Potassium Dichromate

YRJ8498:

do you know about this lesson?

Vocaloid:

I’ll walk you through one and let you try the other on your own Lead(II) Nitrate Because there are multiple possible charges for lead, the II tells us this is a + 2 charge The nitrate ion is NO3- with a -1 charge (for polyatomic ions like nitrate you have to look up/memorize the charge and atoms) To balance out the charges to 0 you must therefore have 2 nitrate ions to balance out the +2 on the lead Pb(NO3)2 (make sure your subscripts are correct, I’m on my phone so I can’t show you but the 2 and 3 are both subscripts) Using the same logic, try potassium dichromate

SwaggyMark:

I'm gonna be completely honest, i have no idea how to convert any of them. All i know is Di means two
