Help me pleaseeeee
just see which one equals x=6
i tryed bhutt its not working
ok let me see what i can do
thank you
ok for the first one
ok ill help you
u have 6x=12
the first one is not equal thoe idk so
correct
for the first one you have to divide 6 on both sides
which was ?
which would be x=2
mhm
so the first one is incorrect
so the second one
17-x=11
for the second one you have to subtract 17 from both sides
and you would get -x=-6 then you would have to divide -1 by both sides
and what would you get?
then u have x/2=3
Multiply all terms by the same value to eliminate fraction denominators
then u wanna do is
for the third one you have to multiply 2 by both sides
then u will get your answer which is?
so you have to solve this for the thrid one \[\frac{ 2x }{ 2 }=3*2\]
so what would you get?
It says x = 6 so wouldn't you just put 6/2=3 and then that would be true bc you replaced the x with the 6 bc x=6
and then do that with the rest of them right?
Okay, so I see what's happening here. \[6(x)=12\] Replace 6 with x. \[6(6)=36\] So, that makes the first answer choice incorrect. \[17-(x)=11\] Replace 6 with x. \[17-(6)=11\] That makes the second answer choice correct! \[(x)\div2=3\] Replace 6 with x. \[6\div2=3\] That makes the third answer choice correct! \[19\div3=(x)\] Replace 6 with x. \[19\div3=6.3333\] So, that makes the fourth answer choice incorrect. \[5+(x)=11\] Replace 6 with x. \[5+(6)=11\] That makes the fifth answer choice correct! I hope this helps that question you were trying to solve!
I told them thats how to do it and they said I was wrong
The 2nd one. The 3rd one And the last one
@thisgirlpretty, I don't know if you can do this, but can you delete some of these comments? They crowd the post, may you also check my work? Thanks.
Please.
Only mods can delete the comments
Suggestion to ping?
Maybe that last comment wasn't clear, (not trying to sound rude in any way.) But, I was meaning, do you have a suggestion of who I should ping?
@vocaloid
1. 6x=12 x=12/6=2 2. 17-x=11 17-11=x x=6 3. \[x \div2=3\]\[x=2\times3=6\] 4. \[19\div3=x \]\[ x=19/3\neq 6\] 5. 5+x=11 x=11-5 x=6 2nd,3rd,5th are correct.
