how much is Emmett's dog?
because Emmett's dog weighs 25% more, this means that it weighs the amount of Jordan's dog plus 25% more of Jordan's dog
this would be \(p+0.25p\) wouldn't you agree?
and simplifying/adding like terms, it would be \(1.25p\)
