Vy=V Cos0 when moving south plug in the valuesand get =-8 Cos67(degress) and -3.13 j m/s When moving west the formula is Vx=V sin0 again with the values it would be =-8sin67(degress)i and =-7.36 i m/s so the Kayak's speed will be "Vy = -3.13j m/s" and "Vx = -7.36i m/s".
