Lecture 13--It seems that memoization, not Dynamic Programming, is the reason for the big improvement in speed. What am I missing?

Memoization is one aspect of Dynamic Programming.

I should probably review the topic in a more expanded way. The term "Dynamic Programming" makes it sound more complicated, and it didn't come across that way.
